so good, hope I can adapt adding a beanie portion to the top of a straw hat I burned by keeping atop a lamp. I cut out the burnt part and looking to somehow replace it with a metallic mesh beanie. Wish me luck I am a lifetime knitter for decades but minimal crochet. I admire your excellent teaching skills and camera work. At 82 I need all the help I can get and you are the best! Blessings!

Loved this pattern. Searched for crochet coaster patterns and this came up. I've never done coasters before but they work up very quickly and are so cute. Just added rows to get it the size i wanted. Really recommend this pattern

I swear I followed paused, follow paused, you know the routine. and for whatever reason my square did not come out a square. The amount of times I've tried this and I don't understand why I'm not getting it. I'm so frustrated. It's the simplest thing. Grrrrrrrrrrr. First half turns out great and then it goes downhill from there

Thank you for this! I cant use DPNs as I find I drop stitches. I'm hoping these will be better. Do you not get the ladder where the stitches are split though like in magic loop? 🙂

The way you knit and purl looks so strange to me as I do it completely differently with the yarn in the right hand. Sadly it just really confused me trying to see what you are doing :( although you are so calm and demonstrate it repeatedly. I could not figure out how to do it after wrapping the yarn around twice.

Definitely not helpful. For people like me, you need to show more detail. Not trying to be mean. I really need to see what it should and should not look like. Hope maybe that can help you teach

This has been so helpful. I have always struggled to join ribbing, especially slip stitch ribbing. This short tutorial has chained everything. My ribbing join is now as close to invisible as can be. Thank you SO MUCH!

Thank you so much, this tutorial was perfect! I figured it out on some samples and am super excited to try it out on a bigger project. If anyone is struggling with the slip stitch one being too tight, I found it helped to up the hook size and try to keep the stitches really loose :)
